1. Using a solution to clean the scope

A lot of people will recommend you to use a cleaning solution while cleaning a scope for deeper cleaning. Though it's true that wet cleaning can give you a better result, it can also damage your scope. Scopes are made of different materials and using the solvent on the scope may tear it. So, if you are planning to use a cleaning solution, then you better be assured whether the manufacturer allows it or not. 2.      Is dust really that bad?

Dust is considered as the rival of the riflescope. Is it true? Yes, it is. The dust particle can damage the functionality of various functions of the scope. It as small device come in a pen shape and it can quickly clean the dust and dirt from your scope properly. Nowadays, most of the manufacturers are manufacturing such pens. Sometimes, you may receive a lens pen with the scope. If you don't get a lens pen with your scope, then don't be disheartened. They are very cheap, and you can easily find them anywhere offline and online.

5.      Regular Cleaning 

Regular cleaning is a good idea. It can be very beneficial to keep the scope safe from the dust. In the same way, it can increase the lifespan of the scope. Regular cleaning doesn't require a lot of efforts. However, be careful about over-cleaning.

6.      Over Cleaning the Scope

Some people are highly sensitive about their things. If you have a scope and you are cleaning it too much, then it can be bad for the scope. The lens of the scope may get scratch and unwanted blurry marks which will make the scope almost unusable for you. So avoid over cleaning and use the proper way of cleaning the scope.
